Returns

 

Grace + Jodie offers refunds only if purchased items have arrived in a damaged condition, and if photographic evidence of the damage is sent to enquiries@gracejodie.com, no later than 3 days after an item is received.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.

 

Non- returnable items include:

  • Customised products

  • Custom-designed products

  • Products altered to your specifications

  • Earrings due to hygiene reasons

  • Sale items & special edition items

  • Change of mind purchase


To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Items purchased at our stockists are subject to the store's own policies.  Please inquire directly at the place of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)


If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.


Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.


Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at enquiries@gracejodie.com and we will guide you through the process via email.

 

Types of Exchanges

1.  Damaged item (or missing part of the jewelry) sent:

  • All items that are damaged (in original unworn condition) when received through mail will be qualified for an exchange or a replacement.

  • The same item will be sent to you after the exchange request is approved.

  • If you would like to have a different item sent, please indicate in your email and we will get back to you as soon as we can regarding its availability.

  • Cost of shipping the item back item will be borne by the brand once we have verified that the item is damaged and in original unworn condition.   You can send us a receipt of your shipping and we will send a reversal back to the card you used to purchase the item.​

 

2.   Wrong item sent:

  • After approval we will send the exact item ordered after the wrong item is received and checked by the team.

  • Cost of shipping the item back  will be borne by the brand.  You can send us a receipt of your shipping and we will send a reversal back to the card you used to purchase the item.

3.   Wrong size sent:

  • Sorry that we sent the wrong size.  We will send the correct size ordered after receiving the wrong item back at our studio.

  • Cost of shipping the item back will be borne by the brand.  You can send us a receipt of your shipping and we will send a reversal back to the card you used to purchase the item.

 

Shipping Exchange Items

Shipping fees are never refundable unless the mistake is on our part.  Cost of shipping will be borne by the customer for returning your item.  

​

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

​

We strongly advice shipping it with a tracking number and making sure the package is adequately padded so that it reaches us safely and undamaged.  You will be responsible for the shipping charges.

​

Do consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing a shipping insurance.  We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
 

Do remember:

We take pride in providing our customers with quality goods and service.  All our products are carefully inspected and packaged before shipping so that they arrive to you in good condition.

​

Because our jewelry is 100% woven and handcrafted by hand, there will be individual characteristics in each item that make it entirely unique.  These are not defects but part of their handmade nature.

​

Our jewelry is made from tiny glass beads that are each less than 2mm in size.  In essence, they are little pieces of glass and should be handled with care.  If treated roughly and dropped or knocked at a high impact, it is possible for the beads to break.

​

All of our items in Grace +  Jodie are handmade.  Buying handmade jewelry means that you will sometimes find slight imperfections by human process.  We believe this is what makes it truly unique!  When buying jewelry with semi-precious stones, pearls or gems, you will find slight variations in colors and patterns, so each piece will never be the same.  Measurements may vary slightly and the true color of an item may not be displayed accurately due to the discrepancies in individual screen resolutions. Such situations will not be considered defective.

We try hard to accept your returns.  In the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we will send it back to you.
